I was born in Arlington, Texas but grew up in Mexico City. Upon finishing high school I traveled to Europe, falling in love with other worlds and discovering different cultures. I experienced the magic of capturing people in different walks of life and gained perspective on how I see things in my own society.

In 2001 I moved to Barcelona, Spain, and studied photography at Grisart- Escola de Fotografía for 2 years. Upon my return to Mexico, I completed my studies at EAF Escuela Activa de Fotografía, graduating as a Photography Technician.

While in Mexico City, I worked for Fundacion Azteca, photographing children with special needs and the elderly. One of my photographs from this position was featured in a prominent exhibition on Reforma Street (the “Champs Elysees” of Mexico City). The image was also published in the book “El ABC de la Discapacidad.”

After working mostly on documentary photography, I became interested in fashion photography where I could be creative with composition. Several of my photographs have been published in Nylon magazine and SoyVicitma magazine in Mexico.

My work was also selected to be part of a special exhibition at the Franz Meyer Museum in downtown Mexico City for an exhibition organized by the government, "Heritage and Cultural Richness Afro-descendant in Mexico", where one of my images received a Special recognition.

I now live in Austin, Texas, and have photographed for architecture and engineering clients in San Antonio. Some of the projects I have worked on have been the San Antonio International Airport, Pearl Brewery, and other buildings. I have also enjoyed shooting portraits and weddings in both Austin and San Antonio.

“My approach is to first understand my subject’s culture and way of thinking and then thoughtfully and creatively compose images that best reflect their beauty and true nature.”
